BROADCASTING PART II

Management Division News
Role in production management news programs, from the regular news programs, weekly news programs, talk shows, to sports broadcasts. The division is in charge of the department coverage, production, weekly programs, research and development, and technical support, and a number of functional personnel from executive producers, producers, assistant producers, presenters, reporters, cameramen, editors pictures, graphic organizers, music organizers, and director.


The scope of the news division of tasks

1.EXPLAISING, assign, and writing news from inside the city, regions, and overseas.
2.REPRODUCTION and publish news, and conduct live broadcast from a particular place.
3.Producing a magazine or television news programs a long duration.
4.CONVEUSING for coverage and production activities.
5.Conducting research, evaluation, provision of data, education and training, and

6.Handle all departmental administrative activities and the handling of domestic

Functions and responsibilities of divisions News

Department coverage
Role in planning, assignments, and writing news from inside the city, regions, and overseas. This involves the head of the Department coverage, executive producer, field producer, assistant field producer, reporter, correspondent, and contributors, and translators.

Production Department
Role in the production and delivery of news, and the implementation of direct broadcast from a particular place. Department involves the production chief, executive producer, producer of the program, assistant producer of the program, and the anchor or presenter.

Department of Special Programs
Role in the planning, assignment, or the production of television magazine programs full-length story. This involves the head of the Department of special programs, executive producer, producer of the program, program assistant producer, and reporter.

Technical Support Department
Role in the provision of human resources for coverage and production activities. The department is involved cameramen, editors pictures, graphic organizers, music organizers, master control crew (including director, imaging, voice styling, VTR operator, and operator TelePrompTer), and the studio crew (including cameramen, director field, lighting , fashion stylist, and makeup artist).

Department of Research and Development
Participate in research activities, evaluation, provision of data, education and training, and documentation. The department is involved researcher and librarian.

Secretariat Department Editor
Participate in all departmental administrative activities and handling of domestic affairs division.

MARKETING DIVISION
Marketing Management
Role in the marketing management of commercial slots, from planning to advertising on the screen. The division is in charge of sales department, billing, marketing and administration.

The scope of Marketing job
1. Regulate and determine the selling price and time / duration (selling time)
2. Promotions do viewers / audiences, agency / advertiser
3. Build the image on the television station in the community.
4. Regulate the division of time (hours) ad impressions that will be played.
5. Discern what is the TV Commercial and Public Service Ads.
6. Measuring qualitative ratings and research.

Function and Responsibility Marketing
1. Defining Market Segments
2. Marketing Mix (product, place, price, and promotion.)
3. Noting 4 C

-Customer needs and wants (needs and wants of consumers)
-Cost to the customer (price to be paid by the consumer)

DIVISION PROMO OFF & ON AIR

Management Division Promo Off & On Air
Almost the same as the program division. Namely, organize and participate in the management of the entire program. The difference is that in this division is divided where the event should be delivered as On Air (directly) with the Off Air (not direct).

The scope and duties Promo Division Off & On Air
1. Event schedule and the Off Water On Water.
2. Record and edit the tape to show Off Air.
3. Preparing all the fittings and equipment function optimally in the studio
for sowing
4. Preparing a summary of news for the Off Air.
5. Preparing skipt (script) to show On Air.
6. Preparing Rundown Events.
7. Sales & Promotion.

TRANSMISSION DIVISION
Transmission Division Management
Part of what makes the media has been on the air broadcasting. Have responsibilities deal with technical equipment, transmitting equipment, studio, building, master control, maintenance, IT, etc..
5.2. Scope of Duty Transmission Division
1. Care of the technical equipment
2. Maintaining the transmitter equipment
3. Maintaining and Building Studio.
4. Maintain a master control to remain stable.
5. Maintain maintenance
6. Providing IT Expert to keep all electronic equipment

Functions and responsibilities Transmission Division
Comprehensive design engineering facilities and infrastructure supporting the operation of broadcast television (outside of transmission facilities) are efficient in accordance with the needs and abilities television stations.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Based on that simple description, then we can conclude that the television stations, including Reporting Division, involving a lot of human resources. In particular, skilled workers and of course creative. The interaction between a single department with other departments is very strong. Could even say there is no dividing line. Thus, each personnel from each department are often ignored outside the home department of administration problems
